Oniris presents Diamantina, a tribute to the very beautiful homonymous town in the Brasilian state of Minas Gerais, renowned for its diamonds mines. Also included in the list of the World Heritage Sites protected by Unesco, Diamantina is a rare jewel of Brasilian baroque, located at the base of rocky mountains where in the XVIII century the diamond, the world’s most precious gem, was searched. Nowadays, the ever-present diamond mines in the surroundings of the city, add to the rich history of the town, and combined with the beauty of the ancient colonial buildings, make it a fascinating and timeless place.
The collection features precious black and white brilliant cut diamonds and the soft glitter of gold chains which become a second skin; the collection embodies the diamonds preciousness and the softness of gold crafted on skin.
The diamonds selected by Oniris for Diamantina are brilliant cut diamonds, the most precious one, have colour F-G and purity VS1-VS2. Moreover, Oniris adheres to the Kimberly Process Certification Scheme, which certifies that the profits derived from the sale of diamonds do not finance civil wars.
Black diamonds, also known as “nonconformist diamonds”, are valued by stars for their original and transgressive style. While the white diamond remains a great classic with its 57 facets perfectly cut with great mastery: each one is a glare!
The collection includes soft rings which envelop fingers like a fabric, pendant rings, and sensual pendants. Discover with us Diamantina, the Christmas collection that will make you dream.
